TITLE : SOFT ANSWER

TEXT:“A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger” (Proverbs 15:1)
Anger is defined as a strong feeling of displeasure, hostility or resentment towards someone or something, usually combined with an urge to harm. Someone said anger is seen or regarded as “temporary madness” because it stirs up strife or shocking behaviour momentarily. Offences which could set off anger and eventually lead to destruction of life and property will sometimes come up. A wise youth should know how to handle offences whether you are at fault or not. There is no peace when in a matter two people are claiming to be right. It is said that two wrongs don’t make a right. An unpleasant situation could lead to unrest among youth anywhere and at any time, and you may be at fault. As a Christian youth, you must be ready to resolve differences with people you have wronged. You should be a lover of peace by endeavouring to settle all matters amicably with real or perceived enemies.

Challenge: Politeness opens door to friendship.
Prayer:O God, give me the right word to say always.
    Further Reading:Judges 8:1-3.
    Quotation:Settle all matters amicably
